Position: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer
We are seeking an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Engineer to join our technical team to deliver efficient and effective quality assurance testing. The successful candidate will become an integral part of an effective technology team in which you can challenge and grow your quality assurance skills and expertise.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the quality of releases and development of quality control procedures.
- Develop and document effective test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated functional testing.
- Document test plan results.
- Communicate test activities, issues, and results to management throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop automation of test cases using tools such as Selenium or JMeter.
- Perform web application security testing.
- Perform load testing using automated performance and stress testing tools.
- Interact with software developers regarding software specifications.
Skills and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 4+ years experience in a quality assurance role.
- Must have proven experience preparing test plans and supporting test cases.
- Must have proven experience with Selenium or similar automated testing tools.
- Experience with load testing tools is a strong asset.
- Experience with quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Very detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
